Vibration Monitoring System for Equipment

Predicting equipment condition and detecting defects at the beginning of their emerging

The vibration monitoring system is designed for continuous vibration monitoring and protection of a mechanism with bearing blocks. The system is focused on a long-term forecast of the condition of equipment, it solves the problem of detecting all its typical defects, including those at the beginning of their emerging.

Main Functions

The vibration monitoring system for equipment developed by AVECTIS LTD allows:

  • diagnosing the condition of monitored units, their main bearing units and lubrication;
  • promptly informing the personnel about the current condition of bearings and the occurrence of alarming events: about exceeding the permissible vibration levels, emergency vibration levels and to shut down the units (with the permission of the operator)
  • preventing increased wear of monitored units and the occurrence of emergency situations due to failure of monitored units;
  • optimizing the procedure for condition-based maintenance of technological equipment;
  • providing the operating organization with tools to detect possible bearing damage at a sufficiently early stage.

Structure

  • acceleration sensors;
  • cables for acceleration sensors;
  • mainframe arranged in the housing of a low voltage complete device;
  • electrical power unit;
  • extra auxiliary equipment;
  • application software.

The system is a customizable product consisting of an unlimited number of measuring channels that measure and monitor technological parameters displayed on image devices such as a tablet, laptop, computer.

Scope of application

  • for enterprises of any brunch of industry;
  • for fuel and energy industry facilities.

Note. The relevance of introducing a vibration monitoring system is determined by the cost of technological equipment and the criticality of its failure.

Advantages

Implementation of the system allows:

  • extending the service life of equipment, reducing the numerous costs of its repair and operation;
  • eliminating unreasonable costs and reducing the number of equipment repairs associated with bearing replacement;
  • performing maintenance of mechanisms not according to the calendar time, but according to the actual and predicted condition;
  • increasing the awareness of personnel about the real condition of mechanisms and the quality of lubricant, which will ultimately increase the reliability of the units.
  • the software allows significantly increasing the performance of specialists using this program, as it performs the entire scope of work on analysis of measurement data and generation of reports and express diagnostics (report on mechanical condition).
